A Prayer of Thanksgiving

Given at the Knapp family home and shared with the world.

Typically this day is dedicated to giving thanks for the things and people that we have in our lives, the food that is set before us, being with those close to us, family. But, as we take this meal together, let us turn our minds and hearts to giving of ourselves. As Lord Ashoka fed the hundreds of monks with but a mango, or Jesus fed the thousands with but a few loaves of bread and fish, let us embody their spirit of giving, and in this giving, so to be nourished by it...
