Sangha - I just got word that Daido passed away at 9:30am this morning. He was my first Zen teacher, and I will always be grateful to him. May the good that he did continue to grow and flourish, and may our practice be strong.
Daido Roshi and ZMM was the first center I was drawn to. I was lucky enough to attend a beginner's retreat at Mt. Tremper and take private interview with him. Thanks for this note and the tweet.
my experience as well. The first center I went to, wonderfully set just outside of woodstock. A wonderful adventure that launched this practice for me for the past 20 years, and now Daido Roshi begins yet another chapter of his journey, of all our journeys.
